Well, no big surprise here since it’s summertime on Maui, but the wind was freaking nuking today.  It makes for some challenging kiting, but it also makes it easier for certain tricks.  Specifically, benihanas.  They’re not well respected in the skateboarding community, and I’ll even admit they kinda look “one-footer” lame on a kiteskate, but I’ve been busting benihana to late finger shuvs and they feel pretty sick.  I’m going to try get some GoPro footage of them as soon as I stop rushing into the water without putting my Kite Hero mount on.
